Perhaps not as celebrated as John F. Kennedy, at least supporters of Charles Haughey could say that he probably wore more expensive shirts than JFK. I’ve always been intrigued by Haughey – there’s something a bit mad about the admiration here for “bold boys” who are a little bit naughty.
