The Jesus painting is an interpretation of the house blessing picture that was on the walls of our old cottage and had been bought by the previous occupant, a Mr Queally.
The painting, which references religious folk art and Egyptian funerary portraits, is part of an ongoing exhibition in my head entitled Pictures From A Parallel Universe Irish Cottage.
